Marriott International Celebrates the 2025 J. Willard Marriott Awards of Excellence Honorees
In an annual ceremony attended by executives and award honorees from around the world, Marriott International recognized exemplary individuals, teams, and properties.

J. Willard Marriott Awards of Excellence 

Marriott International, Inc. is proud to celebrate the winners of the 2025 J. Willard Marriott Awards of Excellence at the company’s annual ceremony, which brings together associates from around the world.

Established in 1987 and named after Marriott’s founder, the J. Willard Marriott Awards of Excellence recognize outstanding individuals, teams and properties for their exemplary achievements, commitment to excellence and extraordinary service to communities, guests and each other.

At the awards ceremony, the 10 individual winners, one Marriott Business Council, and four properties took the stage to share their incredible stories with fellow associates and Marriott leadership.

The awards focus on several areas, including honoring outstanding community service, workplace teambuilding initiatives, exemplifying the company’s core values, driving innovation, empowering the future generation of leaders, and promoting physical, mental, and financial wellness.

“Every year, I am amazed by the inspiring stories of the Awards of Excellence honorees,” said Anthony Capuano, President and Chief Executive Officer of Marriott International. “Their hard work and outstanding actions have a positive impact that extends far beyond the walls of the workplace. These individuals perfectly embody our company’s core values, and it is a privilege to come together in celebration of their remarkable accomplishments.”

Capuano kicked off the awards ceremony with Chairman of the Board David Marriott and Board Member and Global Cultural Ambassador Emeritus Debbie Marriott Harrison, who served as the emcees throughout the event.
