
Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) has announced the winners of its 2026 GHA Awards, recognising outstanding achievements across its portfolio of independent hotel brands and properties worldwide.
Presented during GHA’s annual CEO conference aboard Seven Seas Splendor on 5 July 2026, the awards celebrated excellence across 13 categories covering loyalty performance, guest engagement, technology, sustainability, marketing, and luxury hospitality.
The event marked the first-ever GHA CEO meeting held at sea, reflecting the alliance’s expanding partnership with Regent Seven Seas Cruises, which extends GHA DISCOVERY recognition and benefits beyond hotels into the luxury cruise sector.
Wharf Hotels Named Best Brand Performance Winner
The most prestigious award of the evening, Best Brand Performance, was presented to Wharf Hotels for its outstanding performance across the GHA DISCOVERY programme.
The brand was recognised for achieving strong guest satisfaction levels while consistently delivering member recognition and engagement. Kempinski Hotels and Outrigger Resorts & Hotels were named runners-up.
GHA CEO Chris Hartley said the awards highlighted the collective achievements of brands and hotels that continue to strengthen the alliance through operational excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas Wins Hotel of the Year
The Hotel of the Year Award was awarded to Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas, recognised as the top-performing hotel based on GHA DISCOVERY member room nights booked over the past year.
The award reflects the resort’s strong loyalty engagement and commercial performance among GHA members.
Meanwhile, Lanson Place Parliament Gardens Melbourne received the Best New Hotel Award, recognising its successful debut and rapid growth within the alliance portfolio.
Technology, Marketing and Loyalty Excellence Recognised
Several brands were recognised for achievements beyond traditional hospitality performance.
Hotel Groove Shinjuku, A PARKROYAL Hotel received the Web & App Hotel of the Year Award for strong booking and revenue performance through GHA DISCOVERY’s digital channels.
JA Resorts & Hotels won the Marketing Excellence Award for successful campaigns, promotions, and content initiatives that strengthened member engagement.
For membership growth, Minor Hotels earned the Best Enrolment Performance Award, generating the highest number of new GHA DISCOVERY member enrolments during the year.
Rotana Hotels & Resorts was recognised with the Best Use of Technology Award for innovative digital solutions improving both guest experiences and operational efficiency.
Sustainability and Luxury Hospitality Leaders Honoured
At brand level, The Doyle Collection received the Most Improved Brand Performance Award, while SAii Hotels & Resorts was named Best New Brand Performance following strong results after joining GHA.
The Green Collection Exceptional Engagement Award went to PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, Singapore for its sustainability initiatives supporting environmental preservation and local communities.
In the luxury segment, Capella Bangkok received the Ultratravel Collection Hotel of the Year Award, recognising its leadership in luxury hospitality and ability to meet evolving expectations among high-end travellers.
GHA Recognises Long-Standing Members
The awards ceremony also celebrated long-term contributions from several alliance members.
The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts and Marco Polo Hotels were recognised for 20 years of membership, while Lungarno Collection and Shaza Hotels marked 15 years with GHA.
Outrigger Resorts & Hotels celebrated its 10-year milestone with the alliance.
