Alma Resort Vietnam unveils Discovery Camp, a hands-on farm and nature experience for kids, blending fun, learning and sustainability by the beach
Alma, the award-winning beachfront family resort on Vietnam’s south-central coast, has launched Alma Discovery Camp, an interactive recreation and education hub designed to inspire children through nature, farm life, and sustainable agriculture.
A New Adventure in Nature and Learning
Located beside the resort’s lush Nursery Garden, the Discovery Camp welcomes kids aged 4–14 to explore, play, and learn. The camp combines outdoor exploration with interactive exhibits, giving young visitors a chance to understand where food comes from and how farming sustains communities.
Children can meet and feed friendly farm animals—cows, goats, chickens, ducks, and rabbits—all well cared for and vaccinated. A vibrant collection of birds adds to the farm’s natural charm.

Inside the Little Farmers’ Discovery Hall
The camp’s “Little Farmers’ Discovery Hall” showcases Vietnam’s rich agricultural heritage through engaging, touch-friendly exhibits. Kids can learn about key local products like rice, coffee, tea, pepper, coconut, salt, fish, and mango, along with authentic tools and educational displays explaining how each product is grown or made.
Each visit wraps up with a Certificate of Completion, a fun quiz game, and a special Super Farm Explorer Certificate for the top scorer—making learning both rewarding and memorable.
“We are thrilled to launch Alma Discovery Camp, where kids can engage with nature and learn about sustainable farming in a fun and interactive way,” said Alma Resort Managing Director Herbert Laubichler-Pichler.
Daily Tours and Family Fun
Alma Discovery Camp operates daily, offering two guided sessions from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m., priced at VND 500,000 per person. Each session includes aprons, hats, and animal feed for hands-on activities.
Guests can also enjoy food sampling at the museum, featuring local favorites such as dried mango, Vietnamese coffee, coconut cookies, rice cakes, and traditional sweets. Every child receives a personalized certificate and a Vietnamese conical hat as a keepsake.

A Paradise for Families
The new farm experience joins Alma’s extensive line-up of family attractions, including a 6,000sqm water park, kids and youth clubs, cinema, and Technology Experience Center. The resort also hosts themed workshops—from cupcake-making to tree-planting—and recently introduced Kids’ Themed Rooms with personalized touches for boys and girls.
Alma’s family-friendly approach has earned it major recognition, including:
- “Vietnam’s Best Family Resort” – Holidays with Kids 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards
- #1 Resort in Southeast Asia, #2 in Asia, and #9 Worldwide – Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2024
