Hyatt debuts the Andaz brand in Hong Kong with a new lifestyle hotel opening 2027 in Central Crossing—celebrating culture, heritage and design
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans for Andaz Hong Kong Central, the city’s first Andaz-branded property, scheduled to open in 2027. The new hotel will anchor Central Crossing, an upcoming mixed-use development at 118 Wellington Street developed by Wing Tai Properties and CSI Properties.
Designed as a celebration of Hong Kong’s energy and diversity, Andaz Hong Kong Central will feature 125 guestrooms and suites, blending contemporary style with cultural storytelling. The hotel will include a relaxed Living Room lounge, an all-day restaurant, and a state-of-the-art fitness and wellness center, creating a lively hub for both guests and locals.
As part of Hyatt’s Lifestyle Group, Andaz hotels are known for their creative approach to hospitality, reflecting the character of their neighborhoods. The Hong Kong debut will capture the duality of the city — heritage and innovation, East and West — in both its design and guest experiences.
The project will also introduce the world’s first Andaz Village, a retail and lifestyle concept dedicated to wellbeing, design and gastronomy. Together with premium offices and landscaped open spaces, Central Crossing aims to become a new lifestyle landmark in the heart of Central.

Overlooking the city’s vibrant cultural corridor—close to Tai Kwun, PMQ and Central Market—the hotel will enjoy direct access to transport links, including the MTR and Airport Express.
Hervé Mazella, Hyatt’s Area Vice President of Luxury for Asia Pacific, will serve as General Manager, bringing extensive global experience to lead the opening.
