Andrew Houghton Joins Davidson Hospitality Group

Davidson Hospitality Group has named Andrew Houghton as senior vice president of luxury operations. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s portfolio of properties, maintain key relationships with ownership partners and brands, and directly manage Ragdale Hall Spa in the U.K., ensuring property targets are met.

Steve Contos, executive vice president and managing director – luxury & international, described Houghton as a “global hotelier and best-in-class operator,” emphasizing his role in refining what constitutes a modern luxury experience.

Extensive Luxury Hospitality Experience

Houghton brings a wealth of experience from across the global luxury hospitality sector. Most recently, he served as task force managing director and general manager at various Davidson properties, including Baker’s Cay Resort, Buoy Haus Beach Resort St. Thomas, Autograph Collection, and The Westin St. Thomas Beach Resort & Spa.

Previously, he was managing partner at Mainsail Vacation Rentals, where he developed a luxury-focused vacation rental division utilizing Homes & Villas by Marriott, Airbnb, and other distribution channels. Before that, Houghton spent over 20 years at Marriott International, including as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong, a flagship property in Marriott’s luxury portfolio in China.
