The Ascott Limited, a Singapore-headquartered hospitality company wholly owned by CapitaLand Investment, has signed a hotel management agreement with DETECH Group for Oakwood Premier Hallbridge Hanoi. The project marks the first Oakwood Premier property in Vietnam and the start of a partnership between the two companies.

Portfolio Growth in Vietnam

The addition will bring Ascott’s portfolio in Vietnam to 45 properties and more than 12,300 units across operational and pipeline developments. Ascott is currently the largest serviced residence operator in the country by number of properties.

DETECH Group is a diversified Vietnamese conglomerate with interests in manufacturing, real estate, technology, education, healthcare and consumer businesses. As the developer of the project, DETECH brings development experience and financial capacity to the collaboration.

Property Details and Opening Timeline

Oakwood Premier Hallbridge Hanoi is scheduled to open in 2029 with 127 units. These will include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The property is positioned as an upper-upscale hybrid product that combines serviced residence living with hotel-style facilities and services. It will target short-stay travellers, long-stay corporate guests and expatriates.

The project forms part of a mixed-use development that includes a hospitality tower and an adjacent office tower.

Location in Hanoi’s Southwest CBD

The property will be located in Hanoi’s southwest central business district, within the My Dinh–Cau Giay corridor. The area has developed into a commercial and technology hub and is home to companies including FPT, CMC and Thanh Cong Motor, as well as a sizeable Korean and Japanese expatriate community.

It sits approximately three kilometres from the National Convention Center, My Dinh Stadium, the new U.S. Embassy complex, international schools and major shopping centres. Ring Road 3 will provide access to Hanoi’s city centre and Noi Bai International Airport.

Name and Facilities

The name Hallbridge is derived from the words “Hall” and “Bridge.” According to the developer, it is intended to reflect connection and the meeting of people, ideas and cultures.

Once completed, the property will feature a lobby with double-height ceilings and natural light, a lobby lounge and café bar, an all-day dining restaurant, a residence lounge, OakBar, meeting and multifunction rooms, swimming pools, a fitness centre, yoga facilities and a kids’ club.
