Asia and Oceania’s Best Shine Bright at World Travel Awards 2025 in Hong Kong
World Travel Awards winners represent the very best in tourism excellence

The World Travel Awards Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony 2025 celebrates regional excellence, spotlighting Vietnam, Australia, Japan, and more among the year’s top tourism and hospitality leaders

Asia and Oceania’s top travel and hospitality brands took the spotlight in Hong Kong as the World Travel Awards (WTA) hosted its Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony 2025 at the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong, in partnership with Hong Kong International Airport.

Vietnam emerged as a major winner, taking “Asia’s Leading Destination”, while Hanoi was named “Asia’s Leading City Destination” and Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark earned “Asia’s Leading Regional Cultural Destination.” Australia led in Oceania, securing “Oceania’s Leading Destination”, with Melbourne crowned “Oceania’s Leading City Destination.”

Hospitality winners included The Oberoi, New Delhi (“Asia’s Leading Hotel”), Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort (“Asia’s Leading Resort”), and Discovery Primea, Manila (“Asia’s Leading Business Hotel”). Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts was named “Asia’s Leading Luxury Hotel Brand 2025”, while Pan Pacific Orchard, Singapore earned “Asia’s Leading Green Lifestyle Hotel.”

In the aviation sector, AirAsia took “Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline”, Royal Brunei Airlines was recognised for “Asia’s Leading Cabin Crew”, and Hong Kong International Airport won “Asia’s Leading Airport.”

A special honour went to Mrs. Paddy Tang Lui Wai Yu, BBS, JP of K. Wah Holdings and Stanford Hotels International, who received the “Outstanding Contribution to the Travel and Hospitality Industry” award for her visionary leadership.
