Banyan Group Launches Rainforest Festival to Mark 100th Resort and Singapore Debut
Banyan Group Celebrates Grand Opening of 100th Resort and Singapore Homecoming with Inaugural Rainforest Festival in Support of President’s Challenge

A week-long Rainforest Festival celebration at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree champions sustainability, culture, and community

Banyan Group will celebrate its milestone 100th resort with the inaugural Rainforest Festival, running 27 November – 3 December 2025 at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, the Group’s first property in Singapore. Owned by Mandai Wildlife Group, the new resort is a key addition to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve and a symbolic homecoming for the brand.

The festival marks the finale of 100 Journeys, Banyan Group’s global series of celebrations leading up to this landmark opening. All ticket proceeds will be donated and matched dollar-for-dollar by Banyan Group in support of the President’s Challenge, benefiting 60 programmes across 52 charities—with a further government match under the SG60 Matching Grants.

“The Rainforest Festival is our way of giving back as we mark our 100th milestone and celebrate a decade-long partnership with Mandai Wildlife Group,” said Eddy See, CEO, Banyan Group. “It reflects our belief that travel can be a force for good—connecting people with nature, culture, and community.”

At its heart lies the Discovery Trail, a self-guided journey through the resort’s sustainable design, featuring interactive art, birdwatching, and nature walks. Visitors can also contribute to The Wishing Tree, a living installation that grows with every message of hope. Complementing the trail is the Banyan Gallery Showcase, presenting handcrafted pieces that celebrate creativity and cultural connection.

Festival highlights include locally inspired tastings—from Gryphon Tea’s signature blend and Owa Coffee’s wildlife-friendly brews to nostalgic ice-cream sandwiches and Tanglin Gin’s upcycled chocolate bark. Over the weekend, Into the Rainforest by GREEN-HOUSE HangOut transforms the resort’s ballroom into a pop-up sustainable marketplace featuring ten homegrown brands, creative workshops, and live music performances by Jack & Rai, MICappella, Joie Tan, and more.

Guests can join complimentary yoga, wellbeing, and nature sessions, plus paid experiences such as rainforest walks, culinary collaborations, and behind-the-scenes wildlife tours.

The Rainforest Festival runs 27 November – 3 December 2025 (10 am – 6 pm) at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree. Tickets are S$10 (weekdays) and S$15 (weekends); children under 4 enter free.
