Ciel Dubai Marina has officially opened, joining IHG’s fast-growing Vignette Collection and securing its title as the world’s tallest hotel. Rising 377 metres above Dubai Marina with 82 floors, the landmark property introduces a new level of high-rise hospitality defined by architectural impact, elevated wellness, and destination dining.

Developed by The First Group, the hotel is home to one of the world’s highest infinity pools and the three-level dining concept Tattu Dubai, which spans a restaurant, sky pool, and rooftop lounge. Additional venues include Mediterranean-inspired West 13, Asian marketplace East 14, and the homegrown Risen Café & Artisanal Bakery.
Heinrich Morio, Managing Director of Ciel Dubai Marina, expressed pride in the opening. “Ciel represents a powerful new chapter for Dubai Marina and for high-rise hospitality worldwide,” Morio said. “Our vision was to create an elevated guest experience in every sense—from the architecture to the culinary offering to the way we bring people together at the top of the world.”
Guests will soon have access to a sky-high spa opening in February 2026, alongside a 24-hour fitness centre and exclusive entry to Soluna Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah. Families benefit from a Kids Club, Splash Pad, and family-focused menus, while business travellers can make use of Nest, the executive lounge and meeting space on Level 16.
As part of the Vignette Collection portfolio, the hotel features two signature brand rituals. Guests can begin the day with the Morning Hydration Ritual, offering energising OneShot-blended waters. The property also champions emerging culinary talent through its partnership with the International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA), supporting training and career development.
Located along Dubai Marina’s waterfront, the hotel offers direct access to the boardwalk, Dubai Marina Mall, JBR, Bluewaters Island, and key transport links, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers.
Ciel joins Vignette Collection at a moment of rapid expansion for IHG, with 27 hotels now open and 41 in the pipeline. Each property retains its own identity while benefiting from IHG’s global reach and loyalty programme,IHG One Rewards.
