Hyatt Centric Osaka
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has signed a management agreement with Kanden Realty & Development Co., Ltd. to develop the first Hyatt Centric hotel in Osaka, scheduled to open in 2031.
The Hyatt Centric Namba Osaka will be part of a 28-story mixed-use complex directly connected to Namba Station and will feature 267 guestrooms, a lobby on the 15th floor with city views, a full-service restaurant, lounge, meeting and event spaces, a fitness center, and a rooftop bar on the 28th floor.
This project forms part of a wider redevelopment initiative by Kanden Realty & Development Co., Ltd., Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd., and Osaka Metro Co., Ltd., aimed at enhancing the Namba Station area, a hub of connectivity and vibrant city life.
The hotel marks the brand’s first entry into Osaka and expands the brand’s presence in Japan, joining existing locations in Ginza, Tokyo and Kanazawa, with a new property planned for Sapporo in 2026.
