Four Seasons Hotels Istanbul has appointed Thomas Krooswijk as General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus and Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet.

Krooswijk brings more than two decades of global luxury hospitality experience to the role. Born in France and raised across Africa and the Middle East, he is known for his people-first leadership approach, cultural awareness and focus on service excellence.
He joined Four Seasons hotels in 2001 at The Pierre, New York (formerly a Four Seasons hotel), beginning his career in food and beverage. He has since held senior leadership roles including Director of Food & Beverage at Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles; Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto and Four Seasons Hotel Amman; and most recently, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Marrakech.
In his new role, Krooswijk will oversee the management of Istanbul’s two landmark Four Seasons properties, guiding their continued development while preserving their historical character and sense of place.
