FUFU Tokyo Ginza debuts in the heart of Tokyo, blending private hot springs, fine dining, and serene design for a one-of-a-kind luxury stay
Kato Pleasure Group, the hotelier behind FUFU JAPAN’s Michelin-recognized small luxury resorts, has unveiled its ninth property — FUFU Tokyo Ginza. Located at the Ginza 1-chome intersection, directly connected to the Tokyo Metro Ginza-itchome Station, the new hotel reimagines luxury hospitality in the heart of the capital.
Private Gardens and Hot Springs in the Center of Tokyo
FUFU Tokyo Ginza features 34 guest rooms, each with a private garden and natural hot-spring bath — a rarity in the city. The property blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern refinement, creating a sanctuary where guests can pause and reconnect.
Beyond the hotel, curated Ginza experiences include hands-on traditional crafts, private cruises, sumo training visits, and helicopter tours — all designed to showcase Tokyo’s cultural depth and energy.
The First City Flagship for FUFU JAPAN
Founded in 2007, FUFU JAPAN is known for its intimate, design-led retreats in Atami, Kawaguchiko, Karuizawa, Kyoto, Hakone, Nara, and Nikko. Each property reflects the brand’s guiding philosophy — a place to savor time.
Seven FUFU properties have earned Michelin Key distinctions for two consecutive years (2024–2025), the most among any Japanese hotel brand. With the opening of FUFU Tokyo Ginza, the brand introduces its signature retreat concept to an urban audience for the first time.
Sky-High Tranquility: Yusora Lounge
The hotel’s rooftop lounge, Yusora, offers hot-spring footbaths sourced from Atami, surrounded by lush greenery and open air. Guests can unwind on private daybeds and enjoy free-flow beverages while gazing at Ginza’s glittering skyline — a peaceful counterpoint to the city below.
Refined Dining with Japanese Spirit
On the 12th floor, Japanese Cuisine GINZA GAYU celebrates the essence of seasonal Japanese dining with 86 seats, all in private rooms — some offering night views, others featuring sunken kotatsu-style seating.
For sushi enthusiasts, SUSHI GINGA presents an eight-seat omakase counter, where each piece is crafted fresh before guests, showcasing the artistry and warmth that define the FUFU brand.
A Design Rooted in Nature and Craft
Inspired by a three-dimensional strolling garden, the hotel’s design incorporates earthen plaster walls, Asama and Komatsu stones, and seasonal flora unique to each guest room. In a city of glass and steel, FUFU Tokyo Ginza stands out for its soft textures, natural materials, and calming ambiance — a true expression of Japanese modernity and grace.
