Hilton Honors members can now earn and redeem Points on luxury Explora Journeys cruises, unlocking exclusive onboard perks, elite benefits and discounted fares through Hilton’s latest travel partnership.
Hilton is expanding its loyalty programme beyond traditional hotel stays by allowing Hilton Honors members to earn and redeem Points on luxury ocean voyages with Explora Journeys.
Available from today, the enhanced partnership gives members access to curated cruise itineraries across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Caribbean while rewarding them with Hilton Honors Points, elite status credit and exclusive onboard experiences.
The move reflects Hilton’s broader strategy of extending its loyalty ecosystem into premium travel experiences beyond hotels, giving members more ways to use their Points while exploring destinations around the world.
Hilton Honors expands into luxury cruising
Through the partnership, Hilton Honors members who book eligible Explora Journeys sailings via Hilton can:
- Earn 10 Hilton Honors Base Points for every US$1 spent on cruise fares
- Redeem Hilton Honors Points towards eligible voyages
- Receive an exclusive 5% discount on Explora Journeys fares
- Earn elite qualifying credit towards Hilton Honors status
- Access additional onboard benefits based on their Hilton Honors tier
Hilton says the partnership allows members to enjoy luxury ocean travel while continuing to earn rewards usually associated with hotel stays.
Exclusive elite benefits at sea
Members with elite Hilton Honors status will also receive additional benefits during their voyage.
Gold members receive an invitation to an exclusive welcome cocktail party hosted by Explora Journeys’ ship leadership.
Diamond members enjoy additional Journey Experience Credits, while Diamond Reserve members receive the programme’s highest level of benefits, including:
- Additional Journey Experience Credits
- A behind-the-scenes bridge tour (subject to availability)
- Private port transfers
- All other eligible elite benefits
Hilton: Extending “The Stay” beyond hotels
Mark Weinstein, Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Luxury Brands at Hilton, said the partnership gives members entirely new ways to experience Hilton Honors.

He added that partnering with Explora Journeys allows members to earn and redeem Hilton Honors Points while enjoying personalised luxury travel experiences. Weinstein also said Hilton looks forward to welcoming Explora Journeys guests across its portfolio of 28 hotel brands worldwide, including Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, NoMad and LXR Hotels & Resorts.
Explora Journeys targets experience-driven travellers

She said the expanded collaboration introduces Hilton Honors members to Explora Journeys’ signature “Ocean State of Mind” while reflecting both brands’ shared commitment to premium hospitality and personalised service.

The partnership gives Hilton Honors members access to Explora Journeys’ luxury itineraries across several of the world’s most popular cruise regions.

Guests can explore historic ports, picturesque islands, charming villages and secluded coves throughout Southern Europe.
Northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland and North America’s East Coast
Voyages feature dramatic fjords, rugged northern scenery and culturally rich coastal destinations.
The Caribbean and Central America
Travellers can sail through turquoise waters, island destinations and the iconic Panama Canal.
Members can also book the inaugural voyages of EXPLORA III, which is scheduled to enter service this July.
Building on Hilton Honors Adventures
The expanded partnership follows Hilton’s late-2025 preview of Hilton Honors Adventures, a collection of curated travel experiences designed to give members access to bucket-list journeys beyond traditional accommodation.
Hilton says the initiative complements recent enhancements to the Hilton Honors programme, making it easier for members to earn elite status while offering more ways to redeem Points across premium travel experiences.
