Holafly has launched Ultra, a subscription combining unlimited mobile data across more than 160 destinations with travel protection and access to healthcare services. The plan costs £72.35 per month and is available through the company’s website.
Designed for digital nomads, students studying abroad and long-stay travellers, Ultra combines mobile connectivity with travel assistance and other services in a single subscription.
According to Holafly, the plan includes 14 travel benefits alongside unlimited data. These cover assistance with flight delays and lost or damaged baggage, as well as access to remote medical consultations and wellness services.
Holafly Ultra: Key Features and Benefits
The Ultra subscription includes:
- Unlimited mobile data across more than 160 destinations, including a local phone number with guaranteed SMS reception.
- Travel claims management for delayed flights, lost luggage and damaged baggage, supported by 24/7 human customer service.
- Remote healthcare with round-the-clock medical consultations, mental health support, nutrition advice and wellness care tailored to the user’s location.
- Virtual paediatric and veterinary services, available seven days a week.
Holafly positions Ultra as an alternative to managing connectivity, healthcare access and travel protection through separate services.
The company cites research from AirFly indicating that flight delays alone cost the average British traveller £603 per major disruption. It also estimates that Ultra subscribers could save up to £1,387 annually by combining services in one subscription.
Holafly Research Highlights Healthcare Concerns Among UK Travellers
The launch follows independent research commissioned by Holafly into travellers’ access to healthcare abroad.
The research found that 58% of UK travellers struggle to find trustworthy health information while overseas. Meanwhile, 32% said they had delayed or avoided seeking necessary medical attention because of high costs, language barriers or complex local healthcare systems.
Additionally, 52% reported feeling anxious about accessing healthcare outside normal operating hours.
Holafly said these findings point to demand for services that provide travellers with access to support around the clock.
Metin Kastro, Chief Operating Officer at Holafly, said: “Being able to work from anywhere does not mean everyday worries disappear. Getting sick, feeling overwhelmed or dealing with a cancelled flight can be harder when you are far from familiar support. With Ultra, we are extending our promise of peace of mind, helping travellers stay online and giving them someone to turn to when they need support.”
Holafly Expands Its Subscription Lineup
Ultra sits at the top of Holafly’s subscription range, alongside its Light and Unlimited plans. Both existing plans offer global connectivity across more than 160 countries.
The new subscription broadens the company’s offering beyond mobile data by combining connectivity with travel-related assistance and remote healthcare services.
