Scheduled to open in 2030, the 170-key hotel will strengthen IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in Phuket, a market experiencing sustained international demand growth.
IHG Expands Phuket Portfolio with Hotel Indigo Signing
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Hotel Indigo Phuket Nai Yang Beach in partnership with AssetWise Public Company Limited and its subsidiary Rhom Bho Property Public Company Limited.
Set to open in 2030, the 170-room property will further expand the global footprint of Hotel Indigo, which currently comprises more than 190 open hotels and over 130 properties in its development pipeline worldwide.
The signing reinforces IHG’s strategic focus on growing its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio across South East Asia and Korea, where the group now has almost 100 open and pipeline hotels.
Strengthening IHG’s Presence in Phuket
The addition of Hotel Indigo Phuket Nai Yang Beach increases IHG’s footprint in Phuket, where the group currently operates seven hotels and has five additional properties in development across multiple brands, including:

- Hotel Indigo
- Holiday Inn
- Holiday Inn Express
The signing also extends IHG’s relationship with AssetWise to two upcoming projects in Phuket, including voco hotels Phuket Bangtao, which is currently under design and construction.
Shi’ai Liang, Senior Director, Development, South East Asia & Korea, IHG, noted that Phuket recorded its strongest high season in five years last year, surpassing pre-pandemic levels.
