
Extended-stay brand Hyatt Studios to debut 50 hotels across key Chinese cities
Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) and Homeinns Hotel Group today announced a master franchise agreement to bring Hyatt Studios to China, expanding Hyatt’s upper-midscale portfolio in one of the world’s fastest-growing hospitality markets. The partnership will combine Hyatt’s global brand and operational expertise with Homeinns’ local market knowledge to develop extended-stay hotels in major business and travel destinations.
Homeinns plans to open 50 Hyatt Studios hotels over the next several years, with a pipeline designed to support long-term growth. Part of Hyatt’s Essentials portfolio—which also includes Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Caption, Unscripted, Hyatt Select, and UrCove—Hyatt Studios offers studio-style rooms with kitchenettes and dedicated workspaces, giving guests a home-like experience for longer stays.
Designed based on developer and guest feedback, the brand prioritizes scalable development and efficient operations while adapting to local markets. Guests will enjoy the high quality, contemporary style, and World of Hyatt benefits they expect from Hyatt, with loyalty membership growing 27% annually since 2017.
