Hyatt Hotels Corporation has officially opened Hyatt Place Jiaxing Nanhu, marking the Hyatt Place brand’s debut in Jiaxing—one of China’s most historic water towns. The opening strengthens Hyatt’s footprint in the Yangtze River Delta region and adds a new stay option for both business and leisure travelers.
Located along the scenic South Lake in Jiaxing’s Nanhu district, the hotel places guests at the heart of a lakeside destination known for its cultural heritage and modern lifestyle offerings. The surrounding Nanhu Place area combines historic architecture with contemporary retail and dining, while key regional cities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou are all reachable within roughly an hour by car. High-speed rail and air links further enhance regional connectivity.
The design of Hyatt Place Jiaxing Nanhu draws inspiration from Jiaxing’s Jiangnan water-town heritage. Interiors feature clean lines, natural materials, and open social spaces, creating a relaxed yet functional environment suited for modern travel. As with other Hyatt Place properties, the hotel integrates signature features such as Cozy Corners with sofa sleeper beds, 24-hour dining, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

- 241 guestrooms and suites, offering floor-to-ceiling windows with lake, garden, or city views, plus select rooms with private courtyards and pet-friendly options
- The Kitchen, an all-day dining venue serving global dishes alongside local Jiaxing flavors, with a waterside terrace

- The Market, open 24/7 for snacks, beverages, and travel essentials
- A VIP meeting room designed for small meetings, workshops, and executive sessions with AV technology
- Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property
General Manager Katharine Li noted that the hotel aims to reflect Jiaxing’s unique blend of history and modern energy, from South Lake to the Yuehe Historic District, offering guests a flexible stay experience that balances work, rest, and exploration.
Members of World of Hyatt can also take advantage of a limited-time opening offer. From June 27 to September 30, 2026, eligible members can earn 500 Bonus Points per qualifying night at Hyatt Place Jiaxing Nanhu, with no registration required. The promotion is part of World of Hyatt’s broader new hotel bonus campaign.
