Designed by Kengo Kuma, the renowned Japanese architect known for his philosophy of lightness and sustainability, the hotel’s architecture integrates natural materials to create a contemporary yet serene retreat. The property features 410 accommodations—including 306 guestrooms and suites and 104 serviced residences—catering to both short- and long-stay travelers, with Regency Club access and private resident facilities.
Dining is a central highlight, with four distinctive venues: Midtown Brasserie, Midtown Lounge, China House, and ENSŌ Izakaya & Bar. Led by an international culinary team, experiences range from wood-fired Peking duck and artisanal dim sum to Edo-style sushi and one of Kuala Lumpur’s most extensive sake collections.
The hotel also positions itself as a new events hub with 16 flexible function spaces, including a pillarless ballroom, meeting rooms, and an outdoor courtyard. Leisure offerings include infinity pools for both hotel and residence guests, the Regency Club Lounge, Core Fitness Center, a residents’ lounge, and a Kidz Club.
“We are delighted to introduce Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown—a property that will serve as a dynamic hub for global connections while elevating the city’s position as a premier destination for business and leisure,” said Till Martin, General Manager.
