Crowning Thailand’s INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit’s 33rd and 34th floors, LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar will welcome “Bank” Watcharapong Suriyaphan for the ‘LUZ x Prakaan Guest Shift Glow’ event on August 15 this year from 7-9pm.

Suriyaphan, Prakaan Whisky’s brand ambassador, the founder of Tale of the Spirits bar academy and books, and a bar owner and bar manager, will craft four cocktails each priced at THB 390++:

●       Sol de Miel (The Golden Glow) is a sweet cocktail made up of Prakaan Select Cask, citrus honey shrub, vanilla, lemon and soda.

●       El Misterio (The Mystery) features a smoky combination of Prakaan Peated Malt, Dry Vermouth, fig jam, and cocoa bitters.

●       Characterised by a nutty flavour, LUZ Oscura (Dark Light) is crafted from Prakaan Double Cask, Amontillado Sherry, Frangelico, and bitters.

●       Flamenco Flame (The Fire Within) affords a vibrant blend of Prakaan Peated Malt, Sweet Vermouth, Cherry Heering, citrus and caramel.

By night the hotel’s 34th floor, featuring a pool bar, transparent infinity pool, and rooftop terrace dotted with outdoor lounges, sunbeds and a compelling contemporary interpretation of Bangkok’s Brahman structure The Giant Swing, all become an upper-floor extension of 33rd floor LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar.

The 33rd tapas bar’s design, including its striking angled lines and cabling, pay tribute to another iconic Bangkok landmark, Rama VIII Bridge.
