Marriott Vacations Worldwide has announced the opening of Marriott Vacation Club, Khao Lak Beach Resort in Thailand on August 28, 2025, marking the latest addition to The Marriott Vacation Clubs™ portfolio in Asia Pacific.

The Khao Lak property introduces 52 two-bedroom vacation ownership apartments within JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa. The Asia Pacific pipeline extends to Bali, where 32 new apartments at Marriott’s Bali Nusa Dua Terrace are set to open in early 2026. The brand will also launch Marriott’s Enclave at Bali Nusa Dua Terrace, a standalone complex with 26 units, private pools, a dedicated lobby, kids’ club, and fitness studio.

Operational infrastructure has also expanded with the Shanghai marketing call center workforce growing from 80 to 125 associates, enhancing outreach and engagement across the Chinese market.

“Demand for vacation ownership is rising in Asia Pacific, both from regional buyers and international Members. These openings and expansions underscore our commitment to strategic, sustainable growth in markets with long-term potential,” said John Geller, president and CEO of Marriott Vacations Worldwide.
