He brings more than two decades of international leadership experience with Four Seasons across Europe and Asia, further strengthening the luxury hotel’s position as one of China’s leading hospitality destinations.

Nicolas joins the award-winning lakeside retreat with a distinguished record of operational excellence, people-focused leadership, and developing high-performing teams. More Than 20 Years with Four Seasons

Nicolas began his Four Seasons career in 2004 at Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche in France, where he held several Food & Beverage positions that established the foundation of his hospitality career.

Since then, he has built an impressive international portfolio spanning France, Singapore, China, and Indonesia. Throughout his journey, he has taken on progressively senior leadership roles while earning recognition for operational excellence, strong team development, and authentic luxury hospitality.

Leadership Across Asia Pacific

Most recently, Nicolas served as Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, a role he has held since October 2021. During his tenure, he helped enhance operational performance, strengthen team culture, and elevate the guest experience.

Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Food & Beverage in both Bali and Shanghai, as well as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in Guangzhou. Across every assignment, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to mentoring colleagues while consistently delivering personalised guest experiences.

Beyond his hotel responsibilities, Nicolas currently serves as Four Seasons’ Asia Pacific Regional Spa Lead. He has also participated in multiple regional Food & Beverage Division Reviews and supported strategic task force assignments, including serving as Hotel Manager Task Force at Four Seasons Hotel Osaka.

His leadership was recognised internationally when he received the Hotel Manager of the Year award at the Stelliers Asia 2025 Awards.

Leading an Iconic West Lake Retreat

Nicolas’ appointment marks a new chapter for Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake, one of China’s most celebrated luxury hotels. Located within the UNESCO-listed West Lake scenic area, the property combines traditional Jiangnan gardens, Song Dynasty-inspired architecture, Michelin-starred dining at Jin Sha, and holistic wellness experiences inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine.
