Iconic Shinjuku landmark Park Hyatt Tokyo returns with redesigned guestrooms, signature dining, and refined event spaces
One of Japan’s most celebrated luxury hotels is set to make its grand return. On December 9, 2025, Park Hyatt Tokyo will reopen following a sweeping, 19-month refinement led by Paris-based design studio Jouin Manku. With newly reimagined guestrooms and suites, elevated dining led by Alain Ducasse, and refreshed event venues, the Shinjuku landmark is poised to welcome a new generation of global travelers.
Perched high above the city on the 39th to 52nd floors of Shinjuku Park Tower, Park Hyatt Tokyo has long been known for its tranquil, residential ambiance and cinematic skyline views, including Mt. Fuji. Its revitalization preserves this legacy while introducing modern elegance, sustainability measures, and a heightened sense of calm for guests.
A Modern Classic, Reimagined
The 171 redesigned rooms and suites offer seamless layouts inspired by Japanese design sensibilities, with marble-and-wood bathrooms echoing traditional wet rooms. A new Park Suite category debuts, offering expansive views over Harajuku, Shibuya, and Yoyogi Park.
Signature Dining Elevated
Culinary highlights include the debut of Girandole by Alain Ducasse, a brasserie blending Parisian elegance with locally sourced ingredients and health-forward techniques. The restored New York Grill & Bar, Kozue, and The Peak Lounge & Bar retain their iconic appeal with refreshed atmospheres.
Events with Impact
From a soaring 11,000-square-foot ballroom hosting up to 1,300 guests to intimate boardrooms, Park Hyatt Tokyo reintroduces itself as one of the city’s most prestigious venues for meetings and celebrations.
A Calm Sanctuary in the Heart of Shinjuku
With its exclusive perch above Tokyo’s bustle, the hotel continues to offer a serene escape, complete with a 65-foot indoor pool, Club On The Park fitness center, and spaces designed for stillness and renewal.
Sustainable and Future-Focused
The renovation incorporates energy-efficient systems and eco-conscious practices, aligning the property with modern standards of responsible luxury.
