Park Plaza London Riverbank is launching a new Dinosaur Family Suite in collaboration with the Natural History Museum, with bookings opening in September 2026.
The suite has been developed through a licensing collaboration with the Natural History Museum. Museum experts advised on the scientific content and room design, including the prehistoric species, vegetation, fossils and specimens featured throughout the space.
Park Plaza and the Museum also worked with creative studio P–O–W and Jon Powell, who helped develop the suite’s design and graphics.
Two Connected Spaces
The Natural History Museum Dinosaur Family Suite is divided into two interconnected spaces.
The adult bedroom takes inspiration from a natural history study. It includes Museum-inspired shelving, maps, fossils and collection details.
A concealed bookcase-style door connects the adult bedroom with the children’s room. The latter draws on the Late Cretaceous Period and includes several dinosaur-themed features.
Dinosaur-Themed Children’s Room
The children’s room combines dinosaur-themed design with educational details developed with input from Natural History Museum experts.
Features include:
- A bespoke bunk bed incorporated into a Tyrannosaurus rex-inspired structure
- Floor-to-ceiling murals showing scientifically informed prehistoric species, vegetation and landscapes
- Dinosaur fossils, specimens and other tactile details
- Moss-effect flooring and other features designed to evoke a prehistoric habitat
- Books, guides and hidden educational cues intended to encourage exploration and learning

Expanded Family Offering
The new suite forms part of Park Plaza London Riverbank’s wider family accommodation offering.
The hotel also offers a range of studios and suites, along with family dining options and an indoor swimming pool. Its location provides access to attractions on London’s South Bank.
Booking and Rates
The Natural History Museum Dinosaur Family Suite will be available to book online from 1 September 2026.
Stays will begin on 8 October 2026, with rates starting from £650 per night.
