All 12 iconic Peninsula properties honoured, reaffirming the brand’s legacy of timeless elegance and world-class hospitality

The Peninsula Hotels has once again set the gold standard for luxury travel. Following the announcement of the 2025 MICHELIN Key Hotels on 8 October, all 12 Peninsula properties around the world were recognised within the prestigious global guide — with 11 earning at least a One Key distinction. The honour reaffirms the brand’s reputation for gracious service, exceptional craftsmanship, and enduring sophistication.

Introduced in 2024, the MICHELIN Key celebrates the world’s most remarkable hotels — those that deliver unforgettable stays through exceptional comfort, design, and hospitality. Each year, the guide awards One, Two, or Three Keys to properties that stand out for their excellence and character.

Among this year’s highlights, The Peninsula London received the top honour of Three Keys, while The Peninsula Istanbul was awarded Two Keys, the only hotel in the city to achieve this distinction. The brand’s beloved addresses in Paris, Bangkok, Chicago, and Beverly Hills each retained their Two Keys, continuing their legacy of world-class hospitality.

For the first time, The Peninsula Hong Kong and The Peninsula Shanghai joined the Two Key ranks, while The Peninsula Beijing, Tokyo, and New York each earned One Key. The Peninsula Manila was named a “Selected” property — recognised as a high-quality stay that embodies the spirit of refined travel.

“We are deeply honoured that every one of our hotels has been recognised in the 2025 MICHELIN Keys,” said Gareth Roberts, Chief Operating Officer, The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited. “These accolades reflect our people’s passion for creating timeless moments and inspire us to continue redefining what exceptional hospitality means.”

The 2025 MICHELIN Keys feature more than 7,000 hotels worldwide, including 143 Three Key, 572 Two Key, and 1,742 One Key properties — each handpicked for their distinct sense of place and excellence in guest experience.
