The Caribbean and North America’s top travel and hospitality brands were celebrated in style at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Caribbean & North America Gala Ceremony 2025, held on the paradise island of Saint Lucia. The red-carpet event at Sandals Grande Saint Lucian marked the third stop of the WTA’s Grand Tour 2025 — a global journey in search of the very best in travel and tourism.
The night belonged to Saint Lucia, which reinforced its reputation as a destination of distinction by earning two coveted titles: ‘Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination’ and ‘Caribbean’s Leading Adventure Destination’. Other island standouts included Turks & Caicos (‘Caribbean’s Leading Beach Destination’), The Bahamas (‘Caribbean’s Leading Luxury Island Destination’), and Jamaica, which triumphed as ‘Caribbean’s Leading Destination,’ ‘Caribbean’s Leading Cruise Destination,’ and ‘Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board.’
Across North America, Seattle was named ‘North America’s Leading City Destination,’ while SUMMIT One Vanderbilt took home ‘North America’s Leading Tourist Attraction’ — highlighting the region’s strength in blending urban innovation with world-class experiences.
