The NBA China Games 2025 took place at the state-of-the-art The Venetian Arena on Oct. 10 and Oct. 12, 2025

From thrilling NBA China Games to star-studded fan events and creative collaborations, Sands China celebrates the global power of sport while elevating Macao’s profile as a premier sports-entertainment destination

Sands China Ltd. has concluded an unforgettable NBA Week in Macao, blending elite basketball action with immersive fan experiences and community-driven activities. The high-energy programme underscored the unifying power of sport — attracting regional and international visitors to experience the NBA China Games 2025 and a full line-up of lifestyle events across Sands China’s integrated resorts.

The celebration also reflected Sands China’s commitment to advancing Macao’s vision as a City of Sports and world-class tourism hub through large-scale entertainment offerings that engage both locals and visitors.

On-Court Action
Held on Oct. 10 and 12 at The Venetian® Arena, the NBA China Games 2025 showcased electrifying performances from the Brooklyn Nets and the Phoenix Suns, featuring star players Cam Thomas, Michael Porter Jr., Devin Booker, and Dillon Brooks. Both games thrilled capacity crowds, with the Suns claiming victory in Game 1 (132–127) and the Nets bouncing back in Game 2 (111–109).
Adding to the spectacle were standout pre-game and halftime performances by Team BEBE, the Korean dance sensation, and multitalented artist Henry Lau.

A Fan Experience Like No Other
The excitement extended beyond the court with NBA House Macao (Oct. 8–12) — the city’s first immersive basketball fan zone — featuring appearances by NBA legends including Shaquille O’Neal, Stephon Marbury, Tim Hardaway Sr., and Shawn Marion. Fans enjoyed interactive games, photo ops with the Larry O’Brien Trophy, limited-edition merchandise, and brand activations celebrating the fusion of basketball, music, fashion, and technology.

Complementing NBA House, NBA Fan Day on Oct. 11 brought high-energy performances from the Nets and Suns dance teams, celebrity guests such as MC Jin and MIRROR’s Keung To, Edan Lui, and Stanley Yau, and the ever-popular Shaquille O’Neal engaging fans courtside.

Celebrating Local Culture and Creativity
Adding a playful touch to the week was G Bear, The Londoner Macao’s beloved mascot, whose collaboration with the NBA saw 40 themed statues displayed across The Venetian Macao and The Londoner Macao. The installations — including large inflatables and collectible figurines — became instant social media favorites, with exclusive NBA x G Bear merchandise available at pop-up cafés and stores.

Sports fans also marked the occasion with the grand opening of Macao’s first NBA Flagship Store on Oct. 11 at The Londoner Macao. Spanning over 900 square meters, the store offers exclusive NBA apparel, footwear, collectibles, and personalized customization services — the only one of its kind in the Greater Bay Area.

The week concluded with an inspiring fireside chat featuring Patrick Dumont, President and COO of Las Vegas Sands Corp.; David Beckham, Sands Global Ambassador; and Joe Tsai, Co-founder and Chairman of Alibaba Group — discussing how sports ownership and partnerships are driving deeper global community connections.

“Through partnerships like the NBA China Games, Sands China continues to bring world-class sports and entertainment experiences to Macao, reinforcing the city’s position as an international destination for major events,” said a Sands China spokesperson.
