The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa proudly celebrated a remarkable act of conservation on 5 August 2025 with the successful release of 86 Olive Ridley sea turtles back into the ocean.

The initiative began in mid-June when a nest of turtle eggs was discovered on the resort’s beachfront. To safeguard the hatchlings, the resort’s team built a protected sand sanctuary, ensuring natural incubation under round-the-clock care. Nearly 60 days later, the baby turtles emerged and, with the support of resort staff and guests, were guided safely into the sea.

“This isn’t just about saving turtles—it’s about reconnecting with nature and giving back to the environment that gives us so much,” shared the resort’s conservation team.

As part of its ongoing commitment to eco-friendly initiatives, The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa continues to champion marine conservation through its turtle release program, inviting guests and the community to join in protecting Bali’s natural heritage.
