“All About Mangoes”: The Anam Cam Ranh Unveils Tropical Afternoon Tea Experience
Cam Ranh’s juiciest export takes center stage at The Anam Cam Ranh, where The Colonial restaurant has launched a mango-inspired afternoon tea for two. The experience, aptly named Afternoon Tea Mango Symphony, pays tribute to Khanh Hoa’s fertile plantations and Vietnam’s cultural reverence for the fruit as a symbol of prosperity and promise.

Set against the restaurant’s refined backdrop of an open kitchen, grand piano, and lush garden courtyard, the afternoon tea is served daily from 3 to 5pm. Guests are invited to indulge in a mango-forward menu that blends European finesse with Vietnamese touches.
Savouries include poached tiger prawns with mango salsa, tobiko and brioche roll; Iberico Bellota with charred mango and wholegrain mustard on sourdough; and salmon croquettes with crème fraîche and mango chutney. On the sweet side, highlights span mango scones with homemade jam and clotted cream, mango cream cheese macarons, pavlova with basil mango compote, mango sago pudding with coconut panna cotta and passion fruit jelly, and pandan mango jelly. A curated tea selection by Dammann, alongside local green tea, completes the experience.

“The quality of mangoes grown in Khanh Hoa can’t be beat,” said Laurent Myter, The Anam Group’s general manager. “Our tropical climate, abundant sunshine, and fertile soil yield an unmatched fruit that we’ve reimagined into a playful yet elegant afternoon tea.”
