The Peninsula Paris Appointment
The Peninsula Paris has appointed Luc Delafosse as Managing Director, effective 2 March 2026.
He succeeds Vincent Pimont, who has been named Managing Director of The Peninsula Hong Kong, the group’s flagship property opened in 1928.
Delafosse brings extensive international luxury hospitality experience, having held senior leadership roles in London, Beverly Hills, Paris, Monaco, Dubai and Riyadh. Over the course of his career, he has worked at landmark properties including The Ritz London, Hôtel de Crillon and Burj Al Arab.
Most recently, he served as Vice President of Hospitality & F&B Management at Al Khozama Group in Riyadh, where he oversaw hotel and restaurant portfolios, including asset management of the Mandarin Oriental Riyadh. In 2021, he was also seconded to support the pre-opening of Maybourne Riviera.
At The Peninsula Paris, Delafosse will oversee overall hotel operations and strategic commercial initiatives, while continuing the brand’s focus on personalised luxury hospitality. His appointment comes as the Paris palace hotel celebrates its 12th anniversary and continues to build on its reputation for high-end dining, including two-Michelin-starred L’Oiseau Blanc.
