Trump International Scotland triumphs at the 2025 World Golf Awards, earning top global titles for its New Course and hospitality excellence
Trump International Scotland has solidified its place among the world’s elite golf destinations after sweeping three major accolades at the 12th annual World Golf Awards. The New Course earned titles for World’s Best Golf Course 2025 and Europe’s Best New Golf Course 2025, while the resort itself was recognised for World’s Best Contribution to Golf Tourism Hospitality 2025.
A New Era for Golf on Scotland’s Northeast Coast
Carved through the dramatic dunes of Scotland’s rugged coastline, the New Course has quickly risen to global prominence since opening last summer. Designed to complement the resort’s Championship Course, the addition now offers 36 holes of world-class golf that blend natural beauty with technical challenge.
The course has been celebrated not only for its architectural elegance but also for revitalising Scotland’s position as the Home of Golf — an enduring draw for players and travellers worldwide.
Recognition for Excellence in Golf Tourism and Hospitality
Trump International Scotland’s award for World’s Best Contribution to Golf Tourism Hospitality highlights the property’s exceptional service, luxury accommodations and dedication to enhancing the region’s international golf appeal.
President Donald J. Trump, 45th & 47th President of the United States, said:
“A great honor to win such a prestigious award from the highly respected World Golf Awards. I am very proud of the job that Eric Trump and my team did on building one of the greatest golf courses anywhere in the world. It will make people happy for a long time to come!”
Industry Praise for a Global Golf Icon
Chris Frost, Managing Director of the World Golf Awards, commended the achievement:
“Congratulations to Trump International Scotland for this remarkable triple win. The transformation of the region through this beautifully designed and architecturally sympathetic resort is remarkable. A true icon of luxury has been created thanks to the vision and dedication of the Trump brand.”
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, added:
“We are incredibly proud and truly honored to be awarded three top World Golf Awards and to be named ‘World’s Best Golf Course’ for our magnificent New Course in Aberdeenshire. From the outset, this property has been a labour of love. We’ve built the greatest 36 holes along the spectacular North Sea shoreline.”
