Chenot Espace, Mandarin Oriental, Palazzo Fiuggi and SHA Mexico Among Top Winners as Spa Industry Innovation Takes Center Stage

The global spa and wellness community has spoken: the World Spa Awards 2025 has unveiled this year’s winners, celebrating innovation, excellence, and transformative experiences across every corner of the industry. From luxury hotel spas to digital wellness, the awards spotlight the pioneers raising the bar for guest wellbeing worldwide.

Global Leaders Take the Crown

The coveted title of World’s Best Hotel Spa 2025 went to Chenot Espace at One&Only Portonovi, Montenegro, while The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, Greece was named World’s Best Resort Spa 2025. In Italy, Palazzo Fiuggi retained its crown as World’s Best Wellness Retreat, while WORLD SPA, New York earned the title of World’s Best Day Spa 2025. On the digital front, Headspace reaffirmed its innovation credentials as World’s Best Wellness App 2025.

Brand Powerhouses Continue to Shine

Natura Bissé reclaimed World’s Best Spa Brand 2025, marking a triumphant return since its 2021 win. Aromatherapy Associates continued its reign as World’s Best Aromatherapy Brand, while Mandarin Oriental further strengthened its reputation as World’s Best Hotel Spa Brand for the fourth year running—backed by 16 individual property awards. Meanwhile, Six Senses reclaimed World’s Best Wellness Retreat Brand, with six of its properties also honoured.

Innovation in Longevity Recognised

In response to rising global interest in vitality and resilience, the awards debuted a new category: World’s Best Longevity Programme. The inaugural winner, Advanced Longevity at SHA Mexico, was recognised for its science-led, personalised approach to wellness, blending therapies, nutrition, and lifestyle guidance to promote healthier, longer lives.

New Openings Make Their Mark

Emerging properties also stood out: Royal Mansour Casablanca Spa, Morocco was crowned World’s Best New Hotel Spa 2025, while One&Only Spa Kéa Island, Greece impressed voters to win World’s Best New Resort Spa 2025. In Vietnam, Garrya Mù Cang Chải was celebrated as World’s Best New Wellness Retreat 2025.

World Spa Awards is the sister event to World Travel Awards, currently celebrating its 32nd anniversary.
