APT. has opened at Stamford Place, offering 66 serviced apartments across Levels Three and Four of the reimagined Civic District landmark. The apartments are available for stays of six nights or longer, ranging from a few weeks to a full season.
A Flexible Serviced-Living Concept
The name APT. draws from both “apartment” and the idea of being “apt,” or fitting for how people live today. The concept combines residential comforts with hotel-style services, giving guests flexibility to live, work and explore on their own schedules.
Seven Apartment Types for Different Stay Lengths
APT. offers seven room categories. The APT. Studio measures 24 square metres and includes a king-sized bed, dedicated workspace, minibar and under-bed luggage storage. Selected Studios share a vestibule with filtered drinking water, a sink, refrigerator and microwave. When adjacent apartments are booked together, the vestibule can serve as a private shared space for families or groups.
The APT. Deluxe (29 square metres) and APT. Urban (35 to 38 square metres) provide more space and well-equipped kitchenettes for guests staying longer. These allow residents to prepare meals, work or follow their own routines.
Stamford Suite and Stamford Premier Suite (both 35 to 38 square metres) feature separate living and sleeping areas, private kitchenettes, and in-room washers and dryers. The Hill Suite measures 37 square metres and offers additional space and privacy while retaining a shared living area.
The largest options are the Canning and Civic Suites at 47 square metres. Positioned on the building’s corners with views of Fort Canning and the Civic District, each has a separate living area, natural light, a deep bathtub, kitchenette, and washer and dryer.
Practical Features and Daily Support
Every apartment includes hybrid cooling that pairs ceiling fans with air-conditioning to reduce energy use, along with premium filtered drinking water taps. Standard amenities include casting-enabled televisions, Bang & Olufsen portable speakers, Malin + Goetz bath products, and APT.-branded robes and slippers. Illy coffee machines are provided in Deluxe and Urban rooms. Suites add in-room laundry facilities.
A 24-hour gym with Technogym equipment is available on site. Support services include 24-hour reception and concierge, housekeeping, and round-the-clock laundry facilities for rooms without washers and dryers. Airport transfers, parking with EV charging and selected dining options are available at an additional charge.
Residents also have access to The Great Room by Industrious, a 30,000-square-foot coworking space on Levels Two and Three. It offers hospitality-led shared areas, private suites and meeting rooms, allowing guests to work without leaving the building.
Design and Art Influences
Singapore-based interdisciplinary practice Ministry of Design created the interiors. The firm drew inspiration from Stamford Place’s clock tower and the surrounding Civic District, blending elements of Singapore’s black-and-white houses with references to horology—the study and craft of time.
Arches, ovals and radiating geometries appear throughout the spaces, balanced by warm timber, tactile finishes and a soft residential colour palette. Art consultancy The Artling curated works by Singaporean and Singapore-based artists for the apartments and shared areas.
Location and Ground-Level Dining
APT. occupies the corner of Stamford Road and Hill Street, four minutes from City Hall MRT and close to the Civic District’s cultural sites, green spaces, restaurants and retail.
At street level, several dining and retail concepts serve residents and visitors. Stamford Social is planned as an all-day gathering spot with a menu that runs from morning coffee through evening meals and drinks. Other outlets include Blue Label Tavern, known for stone-fired pizzas and American-style dishes; Yoruya, which serves ramen by day and yakitori by night; Nanyang Old Coffee, offering traditional Singapore-style kopi; and Cold Storage On The Go for everyday essentials.
Australian gelato brand Gelato Messina and American-style Hong Kong bake shop Butter are also set to open, with additional concepts still to be announced.
