The Cove Restaurant at Laguna Bintan will host Italian chef Maurizio Bombini for a two-day dining event on 6–7 November 2026. The event will feature Italian-inspired menus with three-, five- and six-course options.
The culinary event will take place at The Cove Restaurant at Banyan Tree Bintan, with dining sessions scheduled for lunch and dinner. Guests can choose from menus featuring Italian cuisine and seasonal ingredients.
Chef Maurizio Bombini Brings Italian Cuisine to Bintan
Born and raised in Puglia, southern Italy, Chef Bombini draws on his home region’s culinary traditions. His approach combines traditional Italian cooking with contemporary techniques, with an emphasis on simplicity, seasonality and ingredients.
He has built his culinary career across Asia, including experience in Indonesia’s luxury dining sector. His work brings Italian culinary traditions to the region’s dining scene.
For the November event, guests can choose from three-, five- and six-course menus inspired by Italian gastronomy. The menus will feature handcrafted Italian specialties, seafood and seasonal ingredients.
