Nearly 9 million CentaraThe1 members worldwide can now use loyalty points for access to participating Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge locations through a new partnership between Centara Hotels & Resorts and Plaza Premium Group (PPG).
CentaraThe1 members can redeem points earned from hotel stays for airport lounge access. The participating PPG network covers Asia, Mainland China, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Oceania.
Members can also purchase lounge access at special CentaraThe1 rates. The offer applies to the newly opened Plaza Premium Lounge at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).
In addition, members of both loyalty programmes will receive reciprocal benefits, including special discounts and other benefits at participating Centara hotels and resorts and Plaza Premium Lounge locations.
CentaraThe1 expands beyond hotel stays
The partnership extends CentaraThe1, Centara Hotels & Resorts’ loyalty programme, into airport hospitality.
Centara said the programme has nearly 9 million members worldwide. The company is also expanding its partner network across banking, credit cards, airlines, and travel and lifestyle brands.

CentaraThe1 points can be used for lounge access
The partnership gives members another option for using points earned through Centara stays.

The Plaza Premium network covered by the partnership spans airports across Asia, Mainland China, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Oceania.

For PPG, the agreement adds CentaraThe1 members to its airport hospitality network while providing reciprocal benefits to members of both programmes.

The new benefits are available to CentaraThe1 members through participating Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge locations, with lounge access available either through points redemption or special member rates, depending on the offer.
