CIMX 2026 China International MICE Exchange at CNCC II Beijing
CIMX 2026 will take place at CNCC II in Beijing from November 3–5, 2026

The China International MICE Exchange (CIMX) 2026 will take place from November 3–5, 2026, at the China National Convention Center (CNCC II) in Beijing.

For its 2026 edition, CIMX has entered a strategic partnership with the China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee. The collaboration will connect China’s event marketing community with destinations, suppliers and industry professionals from China and international markets.

The partnership will bring the committee’s professional network and event marketing expertise to CIMX’s marketplace and conference program. It will also encourage participation from brand owners, event agencies and other business event professionals.

Focus on Event Marketing and Brand Experience

As organisations place greater emphasis on audience engagement, brand experience and measurable results, event design, marketing and execution are playing a larger role in business events.

The China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee, a professional committee under the China Advertising Association, supports professional exchange and development in event marketing and brand activation.

Meanwhile, CIMX provides a B2B platform for destinations, venues, hotels, destination management companies, technology providers and other MICE suppliers.

The partnership will give professionals from the two sectors an opportunity to exchange views, explore different approaches and develop business opportunities across the MICE industry.

China Advertising Association to Join CIMX Conference

Xin’er Xu, Deputy Director of the China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee, said:

“As more Chinese brands expand internationally, event marketing is becoming an increasingly important way to enter overseas markets, build brand awareness and strengthen audience engagement. At the same time, China is becoming an increasingly important destination for international companies hosting meetings, incentive programmes and other business events. Against this backdrop, we are pleased to partner with CIMX and bring the expertise and practices of the event marketing sector into a broader international MICE dialogue. We also look forward to using this partnership to create greater opportunities for international exchange and cross-border collaboration within China’s event marketing industry.”

The committee will contribute to the CIMX 2026 Conference with a keynote presentation. The session will examine the evolution of event marketing over the next three to five years.

It will also take part in a panel discussion covering cross-border brand activation, AI-driven changes in event marketing productivity, experiential event design strategies and integrated global campaigns.

“Event Talks” Session to Open to CIMX Audience

In addition, the China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee will host its member event, “Event Talks”, at CIMX.

The programme is normally available only to committee members. However, one session will be opened to the wider CIMX audience as part of the CIMX Conference.

This will give non-members access to the committee’s industry perspectives and professional exchange.

The committee will also use its professional network to encourage qualified event marketing professionals to join the CIMX Hosted Buyer Program.

Through the programme, participating members can take part in structured meetings with MICE destinations and service providers from China and international markets.

CIMX Highlights Cross-Border MICE Connections

Nikolaos Swoch, Director CIMX, said:

“Our partnership with the China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee brings brand activation, event design and destination delivery into closer dialogue. It creates new opportunities to turn cross-border ambitions into event experiences with greater business impact.”

According to the partners, the collaboration will support professional exchange and expand connections between China’s event marketing sector and the wider international MICE industry.

The partnership will form part of CIMX 2026, which will bring together event marketing professionals, destinations, suppliers, agencies, corporate clients and other business event decision-makers in Beijing from November 3–5.
