Finland’s flag carrier, Finnair, has launched its September sale for customers in the UK and Ireland. The promotion offers reduced fares across its European and Asian network.
Travelers looking for a traditional Finnish winter experience can fly to Helsinki from as little as £89 one-way from London. Fares start at £94 from Edinburgh, £99 from Manchester and €79 from Dublin.
Reduced fares to Finnish Lapland
For travelers seeking an Arctic adventure, Finnair offers flights to Rovaniemi, the Official Hometown of Santa Claus.
One-way fares start at £123 from London, £130 from Edinburgh, £139 from Manchester and €117 from Dublin. Finnair is the Official Airline of Santa Claus.
Other Finnish winter destinations are also included in the sale. One-way fares to Ivalo, Kuusamo and Kittilä start at £123 from the UK and €117 from Ireland.
Meanwhile, travelers chasing the Northern Lights can head further north. Flights to Tromsø in Arctic Norway start at £149 one-way from London.
European destinations from London
The September sale also covers several other European destinations.
One-way fares from London start at:
- Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius: £104
- Tartu: £119
- Kraków: £124
- Warsaw: £129
These fares provide travelers with more options for a European winter getaway.
Finnair sale includes Asian destinations
Long-haul travelers can also take advantage of reduced fares on several Finnair routes from London, Edinburgh and Manchester.
From London, return fares start at:
- Delhi: £449
- Shanghai: £469
- Singapore: £519
- Seoul: £589
- Tokyo: £709
Thailand is also included in the promotion. Return flights to Bangkok start at £609 from London and Manchester, or £649 from Edinburgh.
Other Asian destinations on sale include Hong Kong from £529, Osaka from £713 and Phuket from £659, all with return fares from London.
Melbourne route included in September sale
Travelers planning ahead can also book Finnair’s new Melbourne route as part of the promotion.
The new service launches on 25 October 2026. Return fares start at £799 from London, £899 from Edinburgh and £919 from Manchester.
The sale gives customers an early opportunity to plan a trip to Finnair’s newest long-haul destination.

Customers can book the reduced fares between 1 and 10 September 2026.
Travel is available between 28 September 2026 and 28 March 2027.*
However, fares to Tokyo and Osaka are part of a longer joint sale campaign. These flights can be booked between 27 August and 29 September 2026.
