Galaxy Macau Strikes Landmark 4-Year Partnership with UFC
The partnership signifies the return of UFC to Macau following a remarkable UFC® FIGHT NIGHT MACAU held at Galaxy Arena in 2024

Can Macau Become Asia’s Ultimate Fight Capital with Galaxy Macau and UFC Partnership?

Galaxy Macau™ Integrated Resort has sealed a milestone four-year strategic partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the world’s premier mixed martial arts (MMA) organization. The collaboration will bring three UFC FIGHT NIGHT® events to the cutting-edge Galaxy Arena between 2026 and 2029, placing Macau firmly on the global sports entertainment map.

The alliance between Asia’s leading luxury integrated resort and the top MMA promotion underscores Macau’s growing stature as a world-class destination for sports, tourism, and entertainment. Beyond fight night, fans can expect a week-long celebration of MMA culture, complete with star fighter appearances, meet-and-greets, and immersive fan experiences.

Adding to the buzz, Galaxy Macau will host the opening round of UFC’s ROAD TO UFC tournament in 2026 — a talent incubator for Asia-Pacific fighters aspiring to earn UFC contracts. The move follows the high-energy return of UFC to Macau in 2024, where a sold-out crowd of 12,000 witnessed history and proved the city’s appetite for live, world-class combat sports.

Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer – Macau of Galaxy Entertainment Group, said:
“We’re thrilled to partner with UFC, the world’s largest MMA promotion entity, to bring world-class fight nights to Galaxy Arena. This partnership reflects our ongoing support for the Macao SAR Government’s vision to integrate tourism and sports. MMA fans in Macau will now have the chance to witness top-tier action right here at home, while visitors can enjoy the city’s rich culture, cuisine, and entertainment alongside unforgettable fight experiences.”

Dana White, UFC President and CEO, added:
“I’ve just returned from China and everything about it was incredible — the culture, the people, and the athletes. This new partnership with Galaxy Macau couldn’t come at a better time. It’s great for fight fans in China and massive for the sport.”

Building on our wildly successful 2024 event, this long-term partnership with Galaxy Macau solidifies our commitment to this region and its passionate fans. Together, we will deliver the pinnacle of mixed martial arts and cultivate the next generation of talent, right here from the heart of Macau.”

With the promise of electrifying fight nights, international visibility, and grassroots talent development, the partnership reinforces Macau’s position as a vibrant hub for sports tourism and cultural experiences.
