A token of appreciation

While finishing up the successful Mekong Tourism Forum at Hilton Lijiang today and checking out, I thought I had lost my laptop in the hotel lobby.  What followed were hotel staff from concierge and security, and staff from Lijiang China International Service which is tour service provider for the Lijiang City Government, helped a lot in the search for my lost item.  And in the end it was discovered that I had it left in my hotel room the whole time! I felt so embarrassed and apologetic about the incident.  

I commend Hilton Lijiang for their good work as the Forum’s designated venue; and in particular Mr. Mark Qi of hotel concierge and Mr. Bruce Li of Lijiang China International Service for their great assistance. Thank you
