Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree Strengthens Commercial Leadership

Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree has appointed Marlene Fang as Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Singapore, Bali and the Maldives, reinforcing its commercial leadership bench as the resort continues to scale its presence in the region’s increasingly competitive hospitality landscape.

With more than 40 years of experience in hospitality management, including over three decades in senior sales leadership roles across Singapore and China, Fang brings a strong track record of driving revenue performance, strengthening market positioning, and developing high-performing teams.

Her career includes leadership roles with globally recognised hospitality brands such as Shangri-La Group, Marriott International, and Far East Hospitality.

In her expanded role, Fang will oversee sales and marketing operations across Singapore, Bali, and the Maldives, with a focus on strengthening cross-market collaboration, refining commercial strategy, and building high-performing teams. A key priority will be enhancing the resort’s position in the MICE and high-value leisure travel segments, while deepening engagement with both regional and international demand markets.
