Charity Golf Day Expands to Phuket and Bangkok
Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s award-winning travel program, has announced the return of its iconic Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day to Thailand this November. For the first time, the event will expand to two locations, with tournaments taking place in Phuket and Bangkok.
The Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day is part of Marriott International’s CSR initiatives in Thailand and supports Serve360, the company’s global sustainability and social impact platform. Since launching in 2022, the event has raised more than THB 10 million for charitable causes across Thailand.
In 2026, the Phuket event will take place at Blue Canyon Country Club on November 12–13. The Bangkok event will follow at Thai Country Club on November 16, marking the charity golf series’ first appearance in the Thai capital.
Registration is now open. Tickets include a full day of golf tournaments, novelty competitions, live entertainment, special prizes, on-course experiences and a gala dinner.
Supporting Children and Communities in Thailand
The Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day series has generated more than THB 10 million for its non-profit partners since it launched in 2022.
This year, proceeds will directly benefit three organisations: Save the Children Thailand, Operation Smile Thailand and UNICEF Thailand. The donations will help these organisations continue their community work, including protecting underprivileged children from exploitation and supporting families working to overcome poverty.
As the event expands to Bangkok, Marriott Bonvoy aims to increase both participation and its charitable impact across Thailand.
Golf, Entertainment and On-Course Experiences
The Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day offers a social experience that brings together players from around the world for friendly competition on the fairways.
In Phuket, golfers will tee off on Blue Canyon Country Club’s Lakes Course from November 12–13. The programme will include a shotgun-format tournament, live entertainment, novelty contests with special prizes and additional surprises across all 18 holes.
The same activities will then move to Bangkok’s Thai Country Club for a full-day event on November 16.
At both locations, players and spectators can enjoy gourmet bites and refreshments from Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels. The colourful convoy features food trucks and carts from Marriott Bonvoy hotels and resorts.
The day will conclude with a gala dinner, bringing together participants for an evening of entertainment and celebration.
Marriott Bonvoy Expands Its Charitable Impact
“The Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day is a highlight of our calendar, bringing people together through friendly competition while raising vital funds for meaningful causes. As the event makes its Bangkok debut, we are excited to expand its impact and give more people the opportunity to support local communities.
“Through Marriott’s Serve360 platform, this initiative has raised over THB 10 million for disadvantaged children across Thailand, and we are proud to broaden our support to UNICEF alongside our long-standing partners, Save the Children and Operation Smile Thailand, helping these organizations continue their life-changing work,” said Brad Edman, Market Vice President – Thailand, Cambodia, Laos & Myanmar, Marriott International.
