Keith Tomkies Brings Global Hospitality Experience to Maldives Resort
NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort has announced the appointment of Keith Tomkies as its new General Manager, marking a new chapter for the premium island resort located in the southern Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll of the Maldives.
In his new role, Keith will oversee all operational departments while focusing on enhancing guest experiences and strengthening the resort’s reputation for personalised island hospitality.
With nearly three decades of hospitality leadership experience, Keith has managed some of the world’s most recognised hotels and resorts across major international markets. His career has taken him from London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Bangkok to Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Beijing, as well as island destinations including Penang and Sri Lanka.
Throughout his career, Keith has held senior positions with leading hospitality groups including Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Dusit International, Regent Hotels & Resorts and Claridge’s.
Minor Hotels Leadership Experience
Keith joined Minor Hotels in 2024 as Cluster General Manager of Anantara Kalutara Resort and Avani Kalutara Resort, where he oversaw operations at the award-winning Sri Lankan resorts.
Most recently, he served as General Manager, China Operations for Minor Hotels, managing hotel operations and development projects across the country.
His extensive regional experience is expected to support NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort as it continues to deliver premium experiences for international travellers seeking secluded island escapes.
