NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Vietnam
NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An brings riverside living and Vietnamese design to Hoi An

HOI AN, Vietnam – Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has opened NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a tranquil riverside retreat in Central Vietnam’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed port town. Known for its cobbled streets and winding waterways, Hoi An now welcomes the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton property in Vietnam.

Nestled along the Co Co River in Cam Thanh village, the 174-room resort offers a peaceful gateway to Hoi An Ancient Town, Cua Dai Beach and the lush Cam Thanh Nipa Forest. Inspired by the principles of slow and intentional travel, NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An encourages guests to discover local craft heritage, regional gastronomy and the unhurried rhythms of riverfront life.

“Vietnam continues to be one of South East Asia’s most compelling travel markets, with destinations like Hoi An resonating strongly with travellers seeking stays that feel personal, culturally rich and connected to their surroundings,” said Alexandra Murray, area vice president and regional head of South East Asia, Hilton.

“The debut of Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Hoi An broadens the lifestyle experiences we offer in the country, with a resort that reflects the pace, heritage and craft of Hoi An while delivering Hilton’s signature hospitality. It also marks another meaningful step in how we are growing our portfolio across South East Asia, with brands and hotels that respond to the character of each destination and the evolving preferences of our guests.”

A Resort Inspired by Hoi An’s Heritage

The resort takes its name from two Vietnamese words: nhà, meaning home, and an, meaning peace. Together, NHAAN represents a peaceful sanctuary where guests can reset, reconnect and develop a deeper connection with Hoi An’s living traditions.

Designed by renowned Vietnamese architect Vo Trong Nghia, the resort combines biophilic architecture with contemporary sophistication. Expansive panoramic windows, locally sourced stone and timber, and organic textures frame views of palm gardens and waterways. As a result, the design creates an open-air sanctuary that blends naturally with its surroundings.

Accommodation comprises 174 rooms and suites, ranging from light-filled guest rooms with garden or river views to deluxe and premium rooms featuring private balconies or direct pool access. Among the standout options are the spacious one-bedroom Khang Suite and the NHAAN Presidential Suite.

For families and groups, 19 pairs of connecting rooms provide additional flexibility. Throughout the resort, handcrafted details, including native textiles, local lanterns and artisanal pottery, bring the stories of nearby craft villages into the guest experience.

Central Vietnamese Flavours by the River

Four restaurants and bars showcase different interpretations of Central Vietnam’s culinary traditions. Each venue draws inspiration from the region’s flavours, stories and communities.

Keng Restaurant serves Vietnamese specialties alongside international favourites in an elevated all-day dining setting. Meanwhile, Plait Restaurant focuses on fresh, locally caught seafood prepared over an open Korean grill beside the river.

Reflecting the 500-year craft legacy of nearby Kim Bong Carpentry Village, Bong Lounge features hand-carved wood detailing. During the day, it operates as a relaxed café before transforming into an intimate cocktail lounge in the evening, with cocktails highlighting the region’s native coconut.

Completing the dining line-up, Nipa Pool Bar offers a laid-back poolside setting for light bites and tropical refreshments. Palm-fringed views of the Cam Thanh waterways further enhance the experience.

Local Experiences and Slow Travel

Beyond its accommodation and dining venues, NHAAN offers curated experiences designed to encourage guests to explore Hoi An beyond its most familiar sights.

Guests can take part in hands-on pottery-throwing, traditional woodcarving and lantern-making workshops. They can also explore the surrounding countryside on bicycle tours, gaining a closer perspective on the region’s rural landscapes and traditions.

For couples and families, more private experiences include romantic waterfront dinners and picnics beside the beach or rice fields. Together, these activities reflect Tapestry Collection by Hilton’s focus on independent hotels that encourage local exploration and discovery.

Weddings, Meetings and Events

NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An also offers venues for intimate weddings, corporate retreats and social events. The 200-square-metre Hoi An Hall Ballroom can accommodate up to 148 guests.

In addition, two multifunctional 35-square-metre meeting rooms provide flexible spaces for smaller gatherings. A light-filled pre-function foyer and manicured riverside lawn complete the event facilities, with the outdoor lawn particularly suited to sunset cocktail receptions.

“Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a collection of independent boutique hotels, each woven with an original, vibrant story shaped by its locale,” said Alexander Shockley, lifestyle and collection brands, Asia Pacific, Hilton.

“NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An is a compelling expression of what makes this brand resonate globally – uplifting design, food and beverage grounded in place, and experiences that invite local exploration and adventure. As we introduce Tapestry Collection to Vietnam, this property brings the soul of Hoi An to life in a way that feels fresh, authentic, and distinctly its own.”

The resort was developed by Dat Phuong Group, a Vietnamese developer known for its integrated hospitality and urban developments in Central Vietnam.

“Our collaboration with Hilton reflects a shared commitment to delivering world-class hospitality experiences in Vietnam. With NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An, we aim to create a distinctive resort that blends international standards with authentic local character,” said Luong Minh Tuan, chairman, Dat Phuong Group.
