Park Hyatt Sydney has appointed Bastian Germer as its new general manager.
Germer brings more than 30 years of hospitality experience to the Sydney hotel. His career includes senior leadership positions at Four Seasons Resort Maldives, Raffles Hotel Singapore, The Ritz-Carlton Osaka, The Ritz-Carlton Toronto and The New York EDITION.
The appointment adds international luxury hospitality experience to the leadership team at Park Hyatt Sydney. Germer has worked across several global markets during his career.
Bastian Germer’s Hospitality Career
Germer’s previous roles have covered luxury hotel and resort operations in Asia, North America and the Maldives.
His experience includes positions at Four Seasons Resort Maldives and Raffles Hotel Singapore. He also held senior roles at The Ritz-Carlton Osaka and The Ritz-Carlton Toronto.
More recently, his professional experience included The New York EDITION.
Park Hyatt Sydney is located on Sydney Harbour. According to the hotel, Germer’s appointment will support its focus on service standards and guest experience
