Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket, a new-build lifestyle hotel set to open in 2029.

The 328-room property will introduce Radisson RED’s bold, playful and social approach to hospitality to Australia for the first time.

Located in the southern end of Sydney’s Central Business District (CBD), the hotel will become part of one of the city’s most dynamic urban precincts.

Prime Location Near Sydney’s Key Destinations

Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket will occupy a 31-story tower in the heart of Haymarket.

The hotel will sit close to Central Station, Sydney Light Rail’s Haymarket station, Chinatown, Darling Harbour, the International Convention Centre, leading universities and Sydney’s emerging Tech Central precinct.

Its location will provide convenient access for both business and leisure travelers. In addition, guests will be within walking distance of Sydney’s major commercial, cultural, educational and entertainment destinations.

The property will stand just 200 meters from Central Station and 6.3 kilometers from Sydney Airport, offering strong connections across the city and beyond.

Lifestyle Design Meets Flexible Hospitality

Designed as an upper-upscale lifestyle hotel, Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket will feature 328 rooms and a range of social spaces.

The hotel will include:

  • A restaurant
  • A lobby café-bar
  • A pool bar
  • Meeting rooms totaling 218 square meters
  • An outdoor swimming pool
  • A fitness center

Furthermore, the property will offer a dedicated early- and late-check-out lounge. This feature will provide added comfort and flexibility for international and domestic travelers.

A New Landmark for Sydney’s Southern Skyline

The new-build tower will become a prominent addition to Sydney’s southern skyline.

The hotel will overlook the heritage Grand Clock Tower and benefit from strong visibility across nearby residential and commercial areas.

According to Radisson Hotel Group, the project reflects the continued transformation of the Haymarket area and its growing role as a gateway to the CBD.
