A New Fairmont Landmark in Bangkok

Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit is envisioned as a “blooming stage” for celebration in the heart of Bangkok. Its design reflects the idea that every flower unfolds with purpose, while drawing inspiration from Thailand’s rich botanical heritage.

Thai architectural and interior design practice PIA created the hotel’s contemporary design. Floral influences appear throughout the property, from bespoke artworks and sculptural elements to subtle botanical motifs in guestrooms and public spaces.

One of the most striking features is the spectacular lobby chandelier, inspired by the golden ratchaphruek blossom, Thailand’s national flower. The installation comprises 4,166 glass pieces and more than 35,000 crystal balls, creating a dramatic focal point upon arrival.

Across the hotel, elegant residential comfort meets a vibrant social atmosphere. As a result, spaces can transition naturally from intimate encounters to larger gatherings and celebrations.

Omer Acar, CEO of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, said: “Thailand’s gracious hospitality, rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted appreciation for connection make it a natural home for Fairmont. Representing a pivotal step in Fairmont’s strategic expansion across Asia, this landmark property follows the much-anticipated debuts of both Fairmont Hanoi and Fairmont Tokyo.

“More than just a hotel, this magnificent social epicenter enables locals and global travelers to unite and celebrate, connect, and immerse themselves in the spirit of this vivid city, enabling us to truly Make Special Happen for everyone that visits.”

Dining Takes Center Stage at Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit

Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit places guests in the center of Sukhumvit’s dining, entertainment and cultural scene. The neighborhood is known for its restaurants, nightlife and heritage attractions, making the hotel a convenient base for experiencing Bangkok.

Meanwhile, food and beverage form a major part of the hotel experience. Seven distinctive dining and entertainment venues are scheduled to unfold throughout 2026.

Harper’s reimagines the North American-French brasserie, combining Parisian elegance with New York sophistication throughout the day.

At AELA Social Bar, an elegant daytime lounge transitions into a signature cocktail destination after sunset. The venue is designed for relaxed socializing as the day moves into evening.

Meanwhile, CAYA Pool Club takes inspiration from Bangkok’s famous night markets. Its menu gives Thai street food a contemporary interpretation, complemented by creative cocktails in a relaxed poolside setting.

Wiggle Room Brings Cabaret to Sukhumvit

Beneath the hotel, Wiggle Room is scheduled to open in mid-September 2026. The new entertainment destination combines the glamour of classic cabaret with the energy of contemporary Bangkok.

With its own private entrance at Sukhumvit Soi 18, the immersive supper club will feature live music, performances, imaginative cocktails and cuisine around a dedicated stage.

The culinary collection will expand again in December 2026, when two new rooftop dining concepts are scheduled to open across levels 32 and 33.

The rooftop on level 33 will introduce one concept blending Italian and Japanese influences with sweeping Bangkok skyline views. Another will showcase contemporary Thai cuisine while drawing on the country’s rich gastronomic heritage.

Mrs. Wallapa Traisorat, Chief Executive Officer and President of Asset World Corp Public Company Limited, said: “Welcoming Fairmont to Thailand for the first time marks a significant milestone for Asset World Corp (AWC) and its long-standing partnership with Accor.

“Designed to connect travelers, businesses, and local communities, the hotel further strengthens Bangkok’s position as a leading global destination. Guided by its Sustainable Growth-led Strategy and mission of ‘Building Better Future,’ AWC remains committed to partnering with world-class brands to enhance Thailand’s tourism industry and create long-term value for all stakeholders.”

Wellness Without Walls

Wellness is another defining element of the Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit experience. The hotel follows Fairmont’s Wellness Without Walls approach, extending wellbeing beyond traditional spa and fitness facilities.

Guests can incorporate wellness into different parts of their stay. These include restorative treatments, purposeful movement, in-room touches and hotel-wide programming.

At Fairmont Spa, the jasmine flower provides local inspiration. As a symbol of Thai hospitality and purity, jasmine informs the spa’s tranquil atmosphere and treatment philosophy.

For active guests, Fairmont Studio offers dedicated spaces for yoga, cardio and strength training. Meanwhile, Fairmont Fit extends the wellness experience beyond the dedicated facilities with practical amenities and programming designed to help guests maintain their routines while travelling.

Together, these offerings create a more flexible approach to wellbeing, allowing guests to choose when and how they incorporate fitness, movement and relaxation into their stay.

Meetings, Weddings and Celebrations

Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit also positions itself as a major new destination for meetings and events in Bangkok.

The hotel offers more than 21,500 square feet (2,000 square meters) of flexible event space across three dedicated floors. The facilities are designed to accommodate everything from executive meetings and international conferences to weddings, gala dinners and milestone celebrations.

At the center of the event offering is the Signature Grand Ballroom, featuring a soaring 12-meter ceiling and dedicated arrival forecourt. The design creates a strong sense of occasion from the moment guests arrive.

The event collection also includes a second ballroom, seven breakout rooms, Couture Hall and a range of versatile meeting spaces.

Consequently, the hotel can accommodate both large-scale conferences and more intimate occasions. Whether for a corporate gathering, wedding or family celebration, the focus remains on attentive service, cuisine and detailed event planning.

Jerome Lobier, General Manager of Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, said: “We are delighted to welcome guests as we prepare to introduce Fairmont to Thailand for the first time. Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit is a place shaped by the energy of Bangkok and the spirit of Sukhumvit, where international travelers and the local community can come together to connect, celebrate and experience the very best of the city.

“Whether guests are joining us for exceptional dining, moments of wellbeing or life’s special celebrations, we look forward to welcoming them with the genuine, heartfelt service that defines Fairmont.”

Family and Fairmont Gold Experiences

Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit has also been designed with different types of travelers in mind.

Families can choose thoughtfully appointed accommodations and access dedicated children’s experiences through the hotel’s Kids Club program. At the same time, guests travelling with pets can bring four-legged companions weighing up to 30 kilograms, with dedicated amenities designed to support a comfortable stay.

For travelers seeking an enhanced level of service, Fairmont Gold offers the brand’s signature “hotel within a hotel” experience.

Fairmont Gold guests have access to a dedicated reception for seamless check-in and check-out. They can also use an exclusive lounge offering curated food and beverages throughout the day, supported by a dedicated concierge team.

Designed With Sustainability in Mind

Sustainability is incorporated into the hotel’s design and operations. In line with AWC’s “Building Better Future” mission, Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit has been designed to LEED Gold standards.

The property incorporates several sustainability-focused features, including biophilic design, water recycling, smart energy systems, enhanced indoor air quality, electric vehicle charging and a heat-reduction façade.

These measures support AWC’s broader commitment to creating destinations that generate long-term value for communities and the environment. They also contribute to the sustainability ambitions of Fairmont and its parent company, Accor.
