LÈGACY Hanoi – A Fusion Original has opened in Vietnam’s capital, adding 218 hotel rooms and serviced apartments, a spa with onsen facilities, and rooftop dining and bar venues to the city’s hospitality market.
Located in the historic Ngoc Ha ward, the property is part of Fusion Hotel Group’s expansion in Vietnam. Its design draws on local cultural references, including O Quan Chuong Gate, the Red River and the five-petal peach blossom.
The hotel held its grand opening ceremony on September 16.
“Hanoi has an extraordinary sense of history, culture and identity. Our ambition with LÈGACY was to create a destination that feels truly connected to Hanoi — one that respects the character and heritage of the city while offering a fresh and contemporary hospitality experience,” Christopher Hur, CEO of Fusion Hotel Group, said during the ceremony.
He also acknowledged the hotel’s ownership partners and their role in developing the property.
“This opening is also a testament to the vision, dedication and trust of our ownership partners. Bringing a hotel of this scale and ambition to life requires tremendous commitment and collaboration, and we are grateful for the confidence they have placed in Fusion. Today is not the end of a project. It is the beginning of a new chapter — for this hotel, for our partnership with the ownership team, and for Fusion here in Hanoi.”
218 Rooms and Serviced Apartments
LÈGACY Hanoi comprises 133 serviced apartments on floors 9–13 and 19–21, alongside 85 hotel rooms on floors 14–18.
Its eight accommodation types range from studios to one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, with floor areas spanning 37 to 105 square metres.
The hotel room categories include 20 Original Rooms, 45 Deluxe Suites, five Premium Deluxe Suites and 15 Executive Suites. Rooms and suites feature private balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, a choice of twin or double beds, and vintage record players with a selection of vinyl records.
The serviced apartments feature a heritage-inspired Vietnamese design, combining warm wooden tones with indigo blue and terracotta accents. Meanwhile, the hotel rooms and suites occupy higher floors, providing natural light and panoramic views.
The main lobby incorporates an artistic interpretation of the chim hac, or crane, above the reception area. Abstract patterns and textures throughout the space draw on Vietnamese cultural motifs. The hotel also offers complimentary refreshments in the lobby through a service called Sparkling Moments.
YÊN Spa Offers Vietnamese Therapies and Onsen Facilities
The hotel’s wellness facilities include YÊN Spa, whose name draws on the Vietnamese word “yên”, meaning peace.
The spa will offer Vietnamese-inspired therapies, massages and beauty treatments. Its onsen facilities include hot and cold pools, a sauna, a steam room and a relaxation lounge.
MỘC LOFT and 24 Social and Terrace
Located on the 24th floor, MỘC LOFT is an all-day restaurant serving a menu that draws on Northern Vietnamese cuisine through a modern fusion approach. Its elevated position also provides panoramic views across Hanoi.
The hotel’s rooftop venue, 24 Social and Terrace, combines an open-air bar setting with cocktails and music. The space is designed for social gatherings throughout the day and evening.
New General Manager Outlines Hotel’s Approach
Newly appointed General Manager Ngo Anh Doan said the hotel aims to connect contemporary hospitality with the city’s cultural heritage.
“Creativity doesn’t erase tradition,” he said. “It breathes new life into it, making heritage resonate with today.”
