Saudi has launched Package Visa, a new digital initiative that integrates tourist visa applications directly into curated travel bookings. The program aims to simplify the travel planning process by allowing eligible visitors to arrange their visa, flights, accommodation, and selected tourism experiences through a single booking.
The rollout is now underway through qualified travel and tourism service providers in selected international markets. A broader global expansion is planned in the coming months.
The initiative forms part of Saudi’s wider strategy to make visiting the country more accessible. Since introducing its tourist e-Visa, Saudi has expanded entry options with visa on arrival and the Stopover Transit Visa. Together, these measures have supported strong tourism growth, with the country welcoming more than 29 million inbound visitors in 2025.
His Excellency Ahmed Al Khateeb, Saudi Minister of Tourism, said the new initiative reflects Saudi’s continued efforts to improve the visitor experience.
“As Saudi’s tourism sector continues to grow at pace, Package Visa reflects our commitment to making travel to Saudi more seamless for visitors. By integrating visa issuance with travel bookings, we are simplifying the visitor journey and creating a more connected travel experience. This initiative also strengthens collaboration across the tourism ecosystem and supports Saudi’s position as an increasingly accessible global destination.”
For travelers, Package Visa reduces the number of steps required to plan a trip. Instead of arranging flights, accommodation, and a visa separately, eligible visitors can complete the process through a single booking. They can also add events, activities, and tourism experiences as part of the package.
Meanwhile, qualified travel and tourism service providers can use the initiative to offer more comprehensive travel packages, simplify the booking process, and encourage longer stays.
To maintain service quality, Package Visa is available only through qualified travel and tourism providers that meet defined service standards and provide 24/7 customer support.
The launch marks another milestone in Saudi’s efforts to strengthen its tourism sector by making international travel to the country easier, more connected, and more convenient.
