Thailand Showcases Rainy Season Travel with Blooming and Bright Amazing Thailand
Nongtalay, Krabi

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is inviting travellers to experience “Blooming and Bright Amazing Thailand”, a seasonal campaign highlighting the beauty of Thailand during the rainy season. This shoulder travel period transforms the country’s landscapes with lush greenery, spectacular waterfalls, fewer crowds, and a more relaxed travel atmosphere.

Unlike peak travel periods, the rainy season offers visitors a different way to experience Thailand. From the cool season’s clear skies to the summer season’s coastal escapes, each period brings its own travel character. During the rainy season, travellers can discover vibrant landscapes, refreshed natural attractions, and a slower pace across destinations.

Discover Thailand’s Greener Season

Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of TAT, said: “Blooming and Bright Amazing Thailand invites travellers to see Thailand at a different rhythm, when the kingdom is greener, calmer, and full of seasonal character. This is a rewarding time to enjoy Thailand’s landscapes, hospitality, culture, wellness, gastronomy, and quieter travel atmosphere, while extending tourism benefits to businesses and communities across the country.”

To promote the campaign internationally, TAT offices across Europe, including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Prague, Stockholm, Moscow, and Rome, are working with tourism partners such as airlines, hotels, and travel companies. Together, they are showcasing the benefits of travelling beyond traditional peak periods.

The campaign highlights greater flexibility, fewer crowds, lush natural scenery, and a more authentic destination experience. As a result, travellers can explore Thailand’s attractions at a more comfortable pace while supporting local tourism communities.

A Year-Round Tourism Experience

The initiative supports TAT’s broader year-round tourism strategy by repositioning the rainy season as a rewarding time to visit Thailand rather than an off-peak period. It showcases the country’s natural beauty, service standards, and diverse experiences across beach holidays, cultural journeys, gastronomy, wellness, diving, golf, outdoor adventures, and sustainable tourism.

Thailand continues to attract European travellers through strong air connectivity, direct flights from major European cities, international hospitality standards, and a wide range of experiences for different travel preferences.

Whether seeking a beach escape, cultural discovery, wellness retreat, culinary journey, or nature-based adventure, travellers can find meaningful experiences across Thailand throughout the year.
