The Hari Hong Kong wedding experience at Zoku and The Terrace in Wan Chai
The Hari Hong Kong’s new wedding experience combines Japanese restaurant Zoku with outdoor venue The Terrace in Wan Chai

The Hari Hong Kong has introduced a new wedding experience at Japanese restaurant Zoku and outdoor venue The Terrace in Wan Chai.

The hotel’s ‘The Hari Ever After’ package gives couples exclusive use of both venues for four hours. The package costs HK$50,000 (USD 6378) for 50 guests.

It includes eight varieties of Japanese canapés, three hours of free-flow drinks and a The Hari Candy Trolley. The newlyweds also receive a complimentary one-night stay in a Corner Room.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception at Zoku and The Terrace

Couples can hold their wedding ceremony and cocktail reception across Zoku and The Terrace.

Zoku means “clan” in Japanese. The restaurant features leather fluted booths, crimson velvet banquettes and an origami-inspired ceiling with angled timber slats.

Meanwhile, The Terrace provides an open-air setting surrounded by greenery. A triple-height living wall frames the outdoor space.

Couples can choose eight Japanese canapés from Zoku’s selection. Options include deep-fried beef brisket maki, mini octopus skewers with sesame, Atlantic salmon kushiyaki and pork belly tacos.

Other choices include shrimp and avocado tart, shrimp tamagoyaki with karasumi, mini sesame crab cakes and wasabi prawns.

The package also provides unlimited red and white wine, Asahi beer and non-alcoholic refreshments for three hours.

Guests can also enjoy a The Hari Candy Trolley featuring items such as macarons and marshmallows. The package includes venue decorations and complimentary value parking for up to two vehicles, subject to availability.

After the celebration, the newlyweds can spend the night in a Corner Room. They can also receive a 10% privilege to upgrade to a suite with a private terrace.

The Hari Ever After Package

The Hari Ever After package costs HK$50,000 (USD 6378) for 50 guests and carries a 10% service charge.

Each additional guest costs HK$800 (USD 102), plus a 10% service charge.

The package provides couples with exclusive use of Zoku and The Terrace for four hours, along with the food and beverage inclusions and one-night stay.

The hotel positions the package as an alternative to a traditional ballroom wedding, with the ceremony and reception taking place across the restaurant and outdoor terrace.

“The greatest luxury for a wedding, in my humble opinion, is forgetting about the stress of orchestrating such an occasion yourself and leaving that to our team so you can focus on the person you are marrying and the people you have chosen to celebrate with,” said The Hari Hong Kong’s general manager Edward E. Snoeks.

“Zoku and The Terrace offer something remarkably different to the traditional hotel ballroom: two singular venues entirely for the wedding, with atmospheric Zoku seamlessly flowing into the open air and greenery of The Terrace. Our team takes care of every detail behind the scenes, right down to the little touches people remember, leaving the bride and groom-to-be free to forget the logistics and lose themselves in a day nothing short of extraordinary.”

Romance in Style for Special Occasions

For proposals, anniversaries and other special occasions, The Hari Hong Kong offers its ‘Romance in Style’ package.

The package includes a one-night suite stay with breakfast for two, a chocolate strawberry bouquet and a romantic turndown with rose petals and a bubble bath.

Couples can also choose Champagne, red wine or white wine.

The package provides 15% off food and beverages at Lucciola, The Lounge, Zoku and The Terrace. Early check-in and late check-out are also available, subject to availability.

The hotel’s three suites feature private balconies and views towards Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, The Peak and Victoria Harbour.
