The inaugural China International MICE Exchange (CIMX) opened in Beijing on 3 November 2026, bringing together Chinese and international companies involved in meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE).

Held at the China National Convention Center Phase II, the three-day event runs from 3 to 5 November. Organisers reported 150 exhibitors, 350 hosted buyers, representatives from 50 media outlets and 4,000 scheduled business meetings for the opening edition.

Organised by Messe Berlin China, CIMX aims to connect China’s business events industry with international destinations, suppliers and event planners. The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism serves as Official Support and Host City Partner.

CIMX Connects International Destinations and MICE Suppliers

The exhibition brings together destination organisations, convention bureaus, hotels, airlines, venues, technology providers and specialist MICE companies.

Participants include corporate event planners, agencies, associations and other buyers seeking suppliers for meetings, business events and incentive travel programmes.

The inaugural edition features Tianjin, Hainan and Shanghai Lin-gang Special Area as Official Destination Showcase Partners. EGYPTAIR is the Official Airline Partner.

Malaysia has the largest international destination representation at the event.

The programme combines exhibitions, business matching, conference sessions and networking activities. It is designed to facilitate connections between Chinese and overseas suppliers and buyers.
